Joan Lillian LeBrasceur passed away at LHSC–University Hospital on October 1, 2026, at the age of 81. She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Bud; their children Rob, Anne, Mike, and Kerry and their families; and grandchildren Alexandra, Kennedi, Lindy, and Riley.
Joan supported the Sarnia–Lambton community through her work with Lambton Elderly Outreach and by playing for local nursing homes with her band, Red Wing. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Winnifred Carroll, and her brother Billy.
Visitation will be held October 8 at Smith Funeral Home in Sarnia. The funeral service will follow October 9, with interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Sarnia and District Humane Society.
