We announce the death of Johanna Margareta Dagmar Cope of Hope, British Columbia, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Johanna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Cope; and her parents, Hans Nabl and Mary Nabl of Vancouver. She is survived by: her family Anglican; her sons, David, Paul (Gillian) and Andrew (Michele); her daughter-in-law Susan; her grandchildren, Lindsey (Rob), Harrison (Jenny), Dylan, Hannah (David), Lauren (Aiden), Spencer and Lyndon; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Simon, Ella, Eva and Jackson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Church (681 Fraser Ave, Hope, BC V0X1L0).
