Family remembrance
Joyce was the daughter of the late Norman and Susan Summers. She was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Garringer in 1997 and Russell Pattenden in 1962, and by her sons Ricky and Randy Pattenden in 1956.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Rodney Garringer (the late Susan), Charmaine (Lee) Delong, Nancy (Brian) Dawson, Tanya (Frank) Grela and Stephanie (Erik) Net. Joyce also leaves her siblings Norma (the late Jim) O’Halloran, Noreen (Pete) Saddler, Naomi (Walter) Blanchard, Bev (Jackie) Summers and Jerry (Dorothy) Summers.
Her grandchildren are Cory Garringer (Michelle McAvoy), Kristen (Chris) Pilon, Bradley (Kendra) Garringer, Melissa DeLong (Wade Finlay), Jeanette Haecker, Daniel (Kyla) DeLong, Chrystal (Bryan) Emmanuel, Isaac (Jackie) Dawson, Brandon (Sykora) Dawson, Natacsha (Brett) Beauparlant, Nathan Grela, Mariah Net (Joshua Whitton) and Mikayla (Zachary) Tranmer.
Joyce’s great-grandchildren are Easton and Quinn Pilon; Taylor, Hadley, Oakly and Finley Garringer; Hayden and Grace Lodwick; Mackie Finlay; Jaxson, Donavon, Ryder and Ebony Haecker; Lochlyn, Hudson and Lennon Delong; Judah, Elyanah, Addison and Alexander Emmanuel; Lux, Huckson, Regan, Brynn, Seven and Eleven Dawson; the late Harriott Dawson; Taylor and Landon Beauparlant; Wyatt Ellis; and Charlie Tranmer.
Interment and donations
A private interment will take place at Old Stone Church Cemetery, 1530 Regional Road 15, Beaverton. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakeview Manor Ladies Auxiliary.
