Lou Jurjens was an excellent small engine mechanic who could fix nearly anything and often be found tinkering in his garage. With his welcoming smile, he was always happy to have visitors stop by for a drink. Lou spent many years as a truck driver in the logging industry, where he built strong friendships with his coworkers. Lou was a faithful member of the Lucknow Community Christian Reformed Church. He loved singing and hearing God’s word. He was an usher and was on council for three years, which kept him involved in the church. Most importantly and above all else, Lou cherished his family. He will be deeply missed.

In keeping with Lou’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Lucknow Community Christian Reformed Church, 293 Place Street, Lucknow, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior.
