KAMENAR, Ann Kamenar
December 6, 1955 - July 24, 2026It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Ann Kamenar, announce her peaceful passing on Friday, July 24th, 2026, at VON Sakura House Hospice, Woodstock, at the age of 70. Ann was born in Tillsonburg, daughter of the late Arthur Helsdon and late Adrienne Warren. Ann will be remembered by her family and friends for her dedication- to her family, her friends and her career. She loved to connect with people and always kept busy. Her nearly 30-year career as a sales associate with Eichenberg Chrysler, Tillsonburg allowed her to maintain and gain social connections. Above all else, her family was at the center of her world. She has a big place in her heart for her beloved Buffalo Bills. Over the years, she was also a supporter of the Rotary Student Exchange, and she housed many students over those years.
Ann is dearly missed by her children and their families: Scott Kamenar (Amanda), of Tillsonburg and their son Brock; Mike Kamenar Jr. (Ashley), of Tillsonburg and their children Michael, Cole and Ella; Elise Kamenar-Johnson (Adrian), of Simcoe and their son Ian. Also survived by her brother Guy Helsdon (Allister Moores), of Tiny, ON and by her brother Paul Helsdon, of Brownsville and their families. Predeceased by her stepfather Bill Warren and by her husband Michael Kamenar Sr. (2009).
Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to attend public visitation on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J.
