KARMER, Thelma Kramer

Born in Whitney, Ontario on April 12, 1944, Thelma Marie Kramer (nèe Greavette) of Owen Sound, was in her 82nd year.

Beloved wife and best friend of Charles Kramer for 65 years. Loving mother of Kimberly Kramer, Karen Kramer (Rick), and Tim Hood (Astier). Cherished nana of Amy, Kale, Chad (Patti), Adam (Renee), Nate (McKinnon), and Kyla, and great-grandmother of Carter, Kyliee, Katharine, and Noah. Dear sister of Grace, Lucy, Phyllis, and Butch, and sister-in-law of Eleanor and Mert Davis. Thelma will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Mary and David Greavette, her daughter Katharine Kramer, her grandson Kurt Kramer, and her siblings Percy, Fred, Jack, David, Bill, Verna, and Isabel.

Thelma had many passions, including bowling, curling and golf. She loved to travel and was a talented artist throughout her life creating glasswork, porcelain dolls and many other works. Her great sense of humour and generosity never waned, and she loved to spend time with her family.

A funeral service to celebrate Thelma’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 12 p.m. with visitation from 10:45 – 11:45 a.m., followed by a reception at the funeral home. A private Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
