It is with great sadness that the family of Lauren Christine Kavanaugh announces her passing on March 30, 2025. Lauren was the beloved daughter of Brian and Stena Kavanaugh, and loving sister to Sean and Shannon. Cherished granddaughter of Mila Kordan and deeply missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbours.
Lauren graduated from Leaside High School in 2006 and pursued her studies in Physical Education and Sports Management in the United States on a scholarship. An accomplished athlete, she played for the Markham Jaguars U19 Women’s Canadian fastpitch championship team and the Scarborough Spirits in 2006.
A funeral Mass will be held on May 9, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Anselm’s Parish, 1 MacNaughton Road, Toronto. A reception will follow from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at St. Bonaventure’s Church, 1300 Leslie Street, Toronto.
