It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leslie Keefer announce his peaceful passing at Lakeridge Gardens in Ajax on Friday January 24th, 2025. Leslie was born in Oshawa to Reta and Alvin Keefer on August 14, 1947. Leslie was employed by the Town of Whitby, Ontario for 30 years and was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Leslie loved his family and his pets Jorge and Daks. His favourite pastimes included flying his plane, driving his 1929 Mercedes, camping and spending time in the mountains.
Leslie leaves to mourn his wife Anne Keefer and his son Jason. Cherished grandfather to Tanner and Aspen Keefer. He also leaves to mourn his brothers Murray, Louis, James and Barry, and his sisters Lillian Weatherbee and Linda Hall.
Mass of Christian Burial for Leslie Keefer will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10 a.m. with Father Silva officiating. A reception will follow in the Knights of Columbus Hall. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
