
With broken hearts, the family announces the passing of Keegan on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the age of 31. Keegan was the beloved husband of Taylor and a devoted and loving dad to his son, Kane. His family meant everything to him, and the love he had for Taylor and Kane will forever remain at the heart of his memory.
Keegan Cairns was the cherished son of Kelly (Jamie) Bell and the late John Cairns. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Griffin Cairns, Brenden (Darby) Bell and Carson Bell, mother in-law Sandra and Father in-law Stan (Keri) and sister in-law Kristen (Tyler) lovingly remembered as Uncle Keegan to Amber, Zoey, Ryland, Emerson and Scottie. He will be greatly missed by his grandparents. Keegan will be joining his grandmother, Margaret and grandfather Jack in heaven. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hockey was more than just a sport to Keegan; it was a lifelong passion. Whether watching a game, cheering on his brothers, playing road hockey as a kid or sharing stories with family and friends, the sport brought him great joy and countless cherished memories.
Keegan’s passing leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved him. Though his life was far too short, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the place he holds within his family will last a lifetime.
Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331) on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 1p.m. with visitation beginning at 11a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service.
