It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Rita Burton at the age of 40. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Lakeridge Health Ajax on August 9, 2025. Kelly was a loving mother to Brayden, beloved daughter of John and Janice Burton, dear sister of Derek and Melanie Burton. She is predeceased by her grandparents, George (1999) and Rita Chatterton (2010) and Eileen Burton (1990). Also her cousin Karen Chatterton Steele (2008). She is loved and remembered by aunts, uncles and cousins from Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland. Kelly is remembered by so many for her infectious laugh and warm smile. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Health and Sciences Center, and Lakeridge Health Ajax for the excellent care that they provided to her. We are forever grateful. We will love you forever Kelly.
