Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 11th, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 63.
Kelly Diane Gedge was the cherished wife of Brian, with whom she shared 35 wonderful years together, having celebrated 33 years of marriage. She was the treasured daughter of Janette and Jack Taylor, and the beloved sister of the late Rob Taylor.
She shared an incredibly close bond and friendship with her sister-in-law Susan Mitchell (Derek) and brother-in-law Brad (Miki), who were not only family but also best friends. Kelly was the adored aunt of Ashley, Will, Makena, and Avery, who held a special place in her heart. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family, and her many dear friends.
Kelly was a proud and dedicated employee of U-Haul for more than 40 years. Throughout her remarkable career, she found a sense of belonging in an organization she truly loved being part of. To Kelly, U-Haul was more than a workplace; it was a family filled with wonderful people and meaningful relationships. Her loyalty, dedication, and the friendships she built over four decades were an important part of her life. Kelly will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 18th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Family and friends are warmly invited to join together to share stories, memories, and reflections, celebrating the life of a truly special woman who meant so much to so many.
