Passed away unexpectedly at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 75 years.
He was the much loved spouse of Linda Ledbetter. Dearly loved Dad to Patrick (Kerri) and Shawn (Tammy). Loving Poppa to Stacee and Cody. Mike will be missed by his “Honorary Son” David Brown (Marsha). Survived by his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Simon and Pauline Kelly (nee Fournier).
Those who knew Mike were well aware of his many interests and hobbies. He was a true lover of Belgian horses, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a skilled marksman. Mike was also known as a master storyteller who could captivate anyone with his tales. He is now reunited with his fishing and hunting buddy, Uncle Lou Fournier.
Respecting Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Mike will take place at the Horton Community Centre in the spring and will be announced. In memory of Mike, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
