KINGSON , Samuel James Kingson

Our beloved Samuel (Sammy) (Sam). It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel James Kingson, who left us far too soon on August 5, 2025, at the age of 22. Born on October 13, 2002, Sam lived with his father Adam at their house in Norland. They spent countless hours working in the garden, climbing trees and enjoying a well deserved bonfire after the chores were done. Sam lived a life full of heart, integrity, and a deep appreciation for the simple, meaningful moments that made life beautiful. He was also a true lover of country music — and would often be found dancing in the kitchen to one of his favourite tunes while preparing a meal.

Above all else, Samuel was devoted to his family and shared a special bond with his siblings. He lived by strong values, believed in loyalty, and made it a priority to be there for those he loved. His steady presence, warm heart, and quiet strength brought comfort and joy to all who knew him. He was the kind of son, grandson, brother, best uncle-fishermen, cousin, and friend who left a lasting impression through his kindness and authenticity.

Though his time with us was far too short, Samuel’s impact will be felt for years to come. His legacy is one of love, integrity, and living true to who you are. Loved by his father Adam (Allison); his mom Carrie (John); his sisters Rebecca (Aya); Lily; his brother Lucas; his nephew Landen; his grandparents Gary (Cristina) (Lolo); Linda (Joe);Brian (Cheryl); his aunt Rachelle (Troy); his uncle Andrew (Carolyn); cousins Penn, Elgin, Graydon, Edwin, Malcolm, Kallum and his bonus siblings; Morgan, Maddie (Kyle) and Myla.

He is survived by his loving friends JP, Mark and Emily, among others, who will forever cherish his memory. A private service will be held to honour Samuel’s life. At a later date, Sam’s parents, grandparents and siblings would like to invite you to celebrate his life in true Sam style (Cowboy boots and plaid shirts!). Date, time and place TBD. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kawartha Conservation Foundation — a fitting tribute to a young man who found peace in nature and lived with heart. Donations can also be made to CMHA (Canadian mental health)

Sweet dreams our sweet boy. You are at peace. You will always be loved and never forgotten. 💜💜
