KIPFER, Bryan Schroeder Kipfer

He came into the world quickly. Just minutes after labour began he was born to Barb and Lloyd Kipfer on their dairy farm. Grandma Laura Kipfer played the role of midwife, as there was no time to get to the hospital.

For someone so hurried to enter the world, he lived his life with care. He was slow to anger, thoughtful in his words, patient through challenge and gentle to everyone around him.

Bryan Schroeder Kipfer grew up in Perth County, near Brunner where he developed his love of country living. Learning from multiple generations of skilled farmers, Bryan knew early he would spend his future in agriculture.

Brent, Bryce and Brad adored their brother. His sense of humour and creativity are recurring themes in all of their most recounted childhood stories. For each, he became a trusted, lifelong friend.

Bryan’s life changed forever moments into grade 9 when he met his wife to be Anita at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate. They started dating at sixteen and celebrated all of youth’s milestones together. In 1994 they were married and committed to living the rest of life’s moments together.

Bryan was a loving, proud father to Markus, Julia, Lena Kate and Daniel. He was equally comfortable teaching them to fish as he was taking them dress shopping. His life’s calling was to be their dad and he did that so well.

Bryan came into the world quickly and he also left us too soon. He died peacefully with Anita at his side on July 1, 2026. In his final days he was calm and steady, just as he had been through life. In his last days he acted with grace and tolerance and spoke of peace and love. He was so grateful for the beautiful life he had lived with friends and family.

Bryan will be greatly missed by wife Anita and children Markus, Julia, Lena Kate and Daniel Schroeder Kipfer; parents Lloyd and Barbara (Baechler) Kipfer; brothers Brent (Sarah), Bryce (Anjana), and Bradley (Kelly) Kipfer; nephews Joel, Micah, Nayan, Kingston, Levi and Kiaan Kipfer; and niece Joanna Sauder (Kipfer) and husband Ryan.

His absence will also be deeply felt by his mother-in-law Elfrieda Schroeder; sisters-in-law Christine (Mike) Schroeder Hubert and Heidi (Chris) Friesen; nephews Ben Schroeder Hubert and Ivan Friesen; and nieces Kathryn Schroeder Hubert and Sasha Friesen.

Predeceased by his father-in-law Hardy Schroeder.

Visitation will take place at Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Rd. Floradale, on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 2-5 p.m.

A Service of Remembrance and Gratitude will be held at Floradale Mennonite Church on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm, followed by a light reception.
