We said good bye to our gentle soul Randy. Beloved spouse to Shelley, my ride or die showed me love I didn’t think existed. So many adventures together in such a short time will always be treasured. 15 years was not long enough. You are pain free now, it’s time to rest my handsome man. I love you to heaven and back.

Randolph Albert Komp was the best bonus dad to Heather, Emily (Matthew), Abigail and Eliza. Leaving behind his sons William (Sara) Thomson and Zachary. Proud Opa to Connor, Karson, Scarlett and Heather. Predeceased by his parents Curt and Lillian Komp.

It was a very hard and exhausting journey these past 6 months for Randy who never had a complaint but would just ask why. Thanks to our girls for holding everything together during the many hospital stays, and to our friends and family who constantly checked in on us. Many thanks to Dr. Chu and Dr. Amin at the General Hospital for Randy’s heart care.

To Dr. Tobias Berg and his team at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic, the ODS staff and Nurses on 4B & C, thank you for all the care and support not just for Randy, but our whole family 🙏 Thank you Jenia at life labs in Ancaster, Randy loved joking with you.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life may be at a later date. Donations to the charity of your choice are appreciated by the family.
