In loving memory of Jack (Jacobus) Kroft, who passed away peacefully in Sudbury on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Adrian Kroft and the late Magdalena Kroft (née Droogh).

Jack was the beloved husband of Bonnie Kroft (née Robinson), and a devoted father to Kenneth Kroft (Amanda) and Marlena Kroft (Josh). He will be especially missed by his grandson, Little Jack, with whom he shared a very close bond. Jack is also survived by three brothers and three sisters, and is predeceased by one brother. His many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews will remember him with love.

Fondly known as “Opa,” Jack retired after a successful career with Vale Inco. He was generous, dependable, and always ready to help. He enjoyed spending time outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and picking blueberries with Bonnie (Oma). He also took great pride in making wine, collecting coins, and riding bikes with his grandson.

Jack will be remembered as a loving, hardworking family man whose warmth and humor touched many. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury, and Crystal Crematorium.
