Labonte, Yvonne Agnes (nee Reaume)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at LHSC-Victoria Campus at the age of 62 years. Beloved wife of 33 years and best friend of Ken Labonte. Loving mother of Daunte and Onisha. Grandma of Kiara Lynn Rose and Elissa. Dearest daughter of Doreen Reaume (nee Bissonnette) and the late Paul Reaume.
Dear sister of Cecil (Pam) Reaume, Randy Reaume (Diane Sears), Ron (Janice) Reaume and Greg (Adina) Reaume. Sister-in-law of Diane (Paul) Peltier, late Annette Labonte and Jean Paul (Cheryl) Labonte. Predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Edgar and Dorothy Labonte (nee Moynahan). Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, her Fur-babies, extended family and her many, many friends.
Yvonne cared for her community, friends and neighbors for 34 years working as a Funeral Director. She enjoyed her summer days in her backyard “therapy” pool with her family and friends sharing a good laugh or story.
As some family members have a sensitivity to strong fragrances, we kindly request you refrain from bringing them to the funeral home or church.
Visitation will be held at Kendrick Funeral Home, Chatham (4 Victoria Ave., Chatham, ON) Sunday, July 13 from 2–4 and 6–8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Church (32 Canal St. W., Tilbury, ON) Monday, July 14 at 11 am. A private family burial will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Randy Atkinson Memorial Fund or to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Center.
