After a lengthy battle with Cancer we are broken hearted to announce the passing of Donald Lafleur.Donald Passed peacefully with his loving family by his side on January 24, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.Predecease by his loving parent’s Shirley and Louie, his younger brother Richard and his nephew Kyle.Donald is survived by his caring sisters, Deborah (Stephen) and Brenda.
Donald was a loving uncle to Michael and Melissa and great uncle to Tyson and Brooklyn who will miss him very much.Donald loved life and loved his family even more. He always had a bright outlook on life – To him every day was a Good Day!
At this time the family would like to thank the staff in the Emergency and Palliative care Department at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the compassion and care they not only gave Donald but to the whole family during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43 in memory of Donald.
A mass will be held on Saturday Feb. 15th, 2025 at 12:30pm
