Passed August 24, 2025 after a long period of progressive illness.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Maureen; and their two daughters Alana Gauthier and Heather Laing-Reid. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Bruce, Hazel, Romeo and Travis.
Cam worked for Alcan for 40 years as a Metallurgical Engineer and was one of the leading technical experts in rolled Aluminum Foil.
He travelled extensively throughout the world and made friends wherever he went. He also made frequent visits to shut-ins on our street. He loved his long walks and visiting the neighbors.
Cam loved to play darts and belonged to a dart league for many years. He also curled, fished and hunted. But his real favorite was golf and he managed to get in a game on almost every continent.
He is sorely missed.
