LALONDE, Jean Marc Georges Lalonde

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family of Jean-Marc (John) Lalonde announces his passing on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at Southbridge (Cornwall) Care Homes. Jean-Marc (John) was the beloved husband of wife Jennifer Brown, cherished father of Jacob Brown-Lalonde, son of Marc and Lise Lalonde (Legault), loving brother to Melanie Lalonde, and adored Uncle to Olivia Lalonde (Gurdeet Sandhu), and remembered fondly by his many surrounding family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by his personal support worker turned dear friend, Chris Hanton who was by his side until the end.

Jean-Marc (John) brought joy and positivity everywhere he went. He loved to make others laugh and his laughter was just as contagious. He had a way of making everyone feel loved, seen, valued and understood. He will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jean Marc Georges Lalonde (John) also adored his time with his family and friends, who loved him and who he loved in return. The time he spent with his wife, son and family were his most fulfilling moments in his life.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Southbridge, Cornwall Long Term Care Home for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Jean Marc (John) during his stay.

As per Jean-Marc’s (John’s) wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Jean- Marc’s memory to Southbridge, Cornwall Long Term Care Home.

Celebration of Life to come at a later date, in Sudbury.
