LANCTOT, Guy Lanctot

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Lanctot on June 6, 2026, 9 days short of his 64th birthday. He was surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband for over 43 years of Susan (nee Yevremov). Much loved father of 2 daughters, Chantelle (deceased 1998) and Danielle. Loving grandfather of Malakai (deceased 2015), and Blair. Dear brother of Monique (Murry) Reid, Denise (Barry) Young, Jeannine (Ron) Codere and Elaine Chauvin. Brother-in-law of Dennis Tucker, Lynn (Tom) Bannister, Paul Tucker (deceased 2012), Walter (Brenda) Tucker. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by his parents Andre (deceased 1962) Lanctot, and Emilienne (deceased 2021) Lanctot (nee Lecours) and 3 brothers Denis (deceased 1948) Lanctot, Denis (deceased 2025) (Bonnie) Lanctot and Marcel (deceased 2011) Lanctot.

Guy’s passion was old cars. Guy was always pranking with school friends and family. When anyone was in need Guy always would be there to help. His heart was big and his knowledge was greater. He did it all mechanic, contractor, electrician, plumber, carpenter.

Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:30am with interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave.) The family invites family and friends to gather at the Legion for a luncheon, following the cemetery. Located at 5030 Howard Ave. Oldcastle, On. – Across from the cemetery. Donations in Guy’s memory can be made to Diabetes Canada or the Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County.
