Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the age of 85 years.

Larry Lanthier of Pembroke, loving father of Jeff Lanthier, Sudbury and Nancy Lanthier, Sault Ste. Marie. Special friend of Theresa McCormac and step-father of Brenda. Cherished grandfather of Amanda Allen (Kristian), Jason (Kara Bruzas), Jesse & the late Robert Lanthier; and Allison & Jacob Halford; as well as many great-grandchildren. Son of the late Harold & Alexina Lanthier (nee Fournier), and dear brother of Junior (Helen) & Clyde Lanthier; and Diana Coulter (Glen). Predeceased by brothers Donald, Harvey & Roy; and sister Doreina. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at the Pembroke Regional Hospital and to Debbie & Brian Dament for taking such good care of Dad over the last few years.

Respecting Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at St. Columba’s Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
