LAZOR, Jana Lazor

We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Jana Lazor on June 9, 2025, at North York General Hospital. Jana was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted daughter to the late Alina and Vladimir, mother to Nikki (James), Mathew, and Mark, and grandmother to Katie and Jayden.

Jana’s career in healthcare education was exceptional. A trained pharmacist and Doctor of Education, she held influential academic positions at the University of Toronto and published nearly 100 journal articles. Her commitment to faculty development, patient care, and innovative curriculum made a lasting impact on healthcare education.

Jana was known for her kindness, integrity, and mentorship. She was a guiding light to many and lived with purpose, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her.
