With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of John Joseph “Jack” Leblanc at his home on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 73. Jack was the beloved son of the late John Andrew and Marion Teresa Leblanc (née Dougherty). He leaves behind his loving family, including his children Joseph (Jen) Leblanc and Sarah (Steve) Metcalf. Jack was predeceased by his son Marc Leblanc. He was a proud grandfather to Ethan, Dylan, Annabelle, Veronica, Henry, and Lela.
Jack will be dearly missed by his sister Elaine (Bill) Nieman of Pembroke, and will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Known for his warmth and kindness, Jack touched the lives of those around him and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass in Jack’s memory will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, LaPasse, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, LaPasse. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
