LEBLANC, Wayne Alexander Leblanc

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne Alexander Leblanc on September 25th, 2025, at the Toronto Grace Hospital at the age of 76. Wayne was born in New Waterford, NS on June 30th, 1949. He was the son of Irene Carey and the late Alex Leblanc (2016).
In his younger years, Wayne owned his own limousine company and chauffeured many celebrities in Toronto and travelled abroad. He had the opportunity to play a role alongside Mr. T as a limousine driver. He always talked about his experience with Mr. T and how his line in the movie was “Move Along” as he was thrown over the hood of a limousine. Wayne was also an avid poker player and always dressed to impress the ladies. He had an exquisite taste for fine cuisine.
Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, he is survived by his mother Irene Carey of London, ON, his half-sister June Leblanc of Hamilton, ON, his loving and caring niece Crystal Kirk (Melanie Landry} of London ON, his nephews Shane of Toronto, ON, Dustin Kirk (Karine) of Beresford, NB, Jaimis Kirk of Hamilton, ON and Jason Kirk (Mylinda) of Fredericton, NB. He is also survived by many great nephews and nieces, cousins and his dearest friends Suzy Appleyard of Dublin, Ireland, Anna Golfetto of Toronto, ON and his very close buddy Raymond Morais and wife Margaret of Dunlop, NB. His favorite companion “Chico” the chihuahua will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his father Alex Leblanc and his beloved sister Debbie Kirk whom he loved dearly.
There will be no visitation or memorial service per Wayne’s wishes. A memorial page will be created on Facebook in the memory of Wayne for family and friends to extend their condolences, memories and pictures.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Wayne’s devoted and compassionate niece Crystal Kirk, a selfless caregiver ensuring his last chapter was filled with unwavering dedication and tenderness. She was a big advocate for his underlying health issues for a considerable period of time. An extended thank you to the doctors and staff of the palliative care unit at the Toronto Grace Hospital for their extraordinary compassion and support for Wayne in his final journey.
