Passed on gracefully after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer, at the Belleville General Hospital on March 7th, 2026, surrounded by family and friends who loved her.
Pauline was born and raised in the Sudbury area, the youngest of five children. Her family remembers when she was younger as being eager to achieve goals, she demonstrated common sense and was notably a “tough and tumble” little girl.
She married the love of her life, Larry Liddiard at the age of 25, and at 26 years of age, she gave birth to a beautiful 7lb baby girl named Leah Anita Marie Liddiard.
Pauline was a woman of excellence; she excelled in everything she did: as a loving wife, as a devoted mother to many step children and grandchildren, as a hunter and avid fisher, as a hard working tradeswoman, but most people will remember her as always having a smile on her face that never seemed to fade.
She was the bridge in a large blended family and will be dearly missed by her loving husband Larry Liddiard, daughter Leah Liddiard, step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her brothers Eugene Richer, Emile Richer and her sister Darlene Langley, as well as a ton of family and friends who are far too numerous to mention here but were written on her heart.
Pauline was a cheerful, bubbly soul, with piercing blue eyes and a beautiful smile. We love you and miss you, Pauline!!
Celebration of life to be held at Rushnell Funeral Home, 9 Bursthall Street in Marmora (613-472-2531) between the hours of 1 – 3pm.
