It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Lio on June 14, 2025, at the age of 93. Frank is now reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Ida Lio, whom he missed so dearly.

Loving father to Dino (Laura) and Carmelina, devoted Nonno to Christopher (Natalie), Victoria, and Vanessa, and proud Bisnonno to Massimo Lio. Frank’s love for his family was the foundation of his life. He had a gift for storytelling and a memory filled with rich experiences, which he loved to share with those around him.

Frank is predeceased by his wife Ida, his brothers Adolfo and Davide, his sisters Iolanda, Livia, and Elena, and his brothers-in-law Michele Paternostro, Luigi Ventura, and Emilio Covello.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Carmela Ventura, Anna Covello, and Linda Paternostro, and by his brother-in-law Mario (Sylvia) Paternostro, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm at:

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 10:30am in the Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation at the same location.

Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery – St. Anthony’s Mausoleum.
