He spent a year traveling and working in Australia before coming home and meeting and marrying the love of his life, Uvonne on June 18, 1988. They moved to Eugenia in 1990 to grow their family and start their business Kent Little Construction, where Kent built and renovated homes.

Kent was a member of the Flesherton Kinsmen, loved to hunt, go ATVing and recently enjoyed golfing. His presence will be greatly missed.
