With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Locke, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Betty’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Betty was married for 65 years to the late Ronald W. Locke. She is survived by her loving children William Ronald Locke, Rhonda Lynn Locke, and Michael Charles Locke (Harry). Betty was a devoted and nurturing mother who loved her children with all her heart. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Olive Rogers, and sister to Ralf and Babe.
Betty’s kindness, warmth, and love touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Newcastle Food Bank or CAMH, two causes close to Betty’s heart.
