Suddenly at his residence on Thursday, April 23, 2026, after conquering multiple health issues, Andrew “Andy” Graham Longridge of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 78 years.

Beloved husband of 58 years to Dorothy (nee Bell). Loving father to Al and his wife Sue, Robert and his wife Kate, Scott and his wife Karen. Papa to Corey, Matthew, Kyle, Nevin and his wife Amie, and Derek. Great Papa to Ainsleigh and Oliver.

Brother to Lavina, Thomas and his wife Susanna, Ann, and Alicen. Brother-in-law to Richard and his wife Cheryl, and Randy.

Andrew Graham Longridge was predeceased by his father Thomas, his mother Alice (nee Allan), his father-in-law James, his mother-in-law Margaret, and his sister-in-law Dianne.

Andy Longridge lived a life marked by dedication, fellowship, and a steady commitment to the many communities and organizations he served. He was a man who believed in showing up, contributing with sincerity, and leaving every place better than he found it. His presence was felt not only through his long-standing involvement in fraternal and musical organizations, but also through the example he set for others by carrying himself with dignity, purpose, and a generous spirit.

Andy was a member of the Shriners, Dereham Lodge #624, Order of the Eastern Star-McDonald Chapter #167, and numerous masonic bodies. He also served as a past District Deputy of Wilson District, and was a member of the Tillsonburg Legion. Andy was a member of the Ingersoll Pipe Band and the Royal Scots of Mocha which reflected his deep connection to his Scottish heritage, and his appreciation of the Scottish music and traditions. He willingly shared his musical talent with others when asked. In his younger years Andy participated in the sport of Judo, earning his Black Belt. He taught many to enjoy the sport through the Woodstock YMCA.

Andy Longridge will be remembered with gratitude and admiration for the many ways he enriched the lives of those around him. His legacy lives on in the organizations he supported, in the friendships he formed, and in the values he upheld. His life was a testament to commitment, brotherhood, and the power of living with intention. May his memory continue to inspire all who strive to serve with the same grace, loyalty, and strength that he brought to every part of his journey.
