
Lori Ann Crawford passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home in Peachland, British Columbia, on August 23, 2026. She was 67.
Born in Fort Nelson, British Columbia, on July 1, 1959, Lori lived with curiosity, courage, generosity, and an adventurous spirit.
She was an avid scuba diver, amateur photographer, long-distance cyclist, car enthusiast, longtime Miata owner, and loyal club member. Her adventures included climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and carrying the Olympic Torch during part of its Calgary run was a treasured memory.
Lori loved cats and animals and put that care into action through community service. She volunteered for many years at the Calgary Zoo and was known for offering a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her kindness and enthusiasm made a lasting impression on the people and communities she encountered.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC SPCA or Critteraid Animal Sanctuary.
