Robert “Bob” James Lowe of R.R. #4 Chesley passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in his 82nd year.
Beloved husband of Doris (Byers) for 57 cherished years. Loving father to Leslie (Cynthia) Lowe of Edmonton, Kay Lowe (Ken Wilson) of Scone, Heather Younghusband of Owen Sound, and Connie (Chris) Zekany of London.
Proud grandfather of Emily Amyotte, Julia (Todd) McCauley, Martina Williamson, Camden Younghusband, Graydon Younghusband, Anthony Zekany, and Adele Zekany. Great-grandfather to June McCauley. Brother of Janet Laird of Chesley and uncle to Steven Byers and Darrin Byers.
Bob was predeceased by his brother Donald Lowe and his parents Peter and Ellen (McAlpine) Lowe.
Visitation will take place at Rhody Family Funeral Home on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 7 – 9 p.m. A memorial service to honour Bob’s life will be held at the Klages Mill (11 1st Ave. N., Chesley) on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. Private inurnment to follow at Chesley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Victoria Hospital (payable to Dr. Sanjay Mehta) or the Salvation Army are appreciated.
