LUCHIES, Andy – Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Andy, just four days shy of his 72nd birthday, was the beloved son of the late Margaretha and Jan Luchies. He was the first of their children to be born in Canada and the fourth youngest of sixteen siblings.

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Andy attended York University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. A very private man throughout his life, his wishes will be honoured with cremation and no visitation or service will be held. An interment will take place at Dunsford Cemetery.
