It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful angel, Lylah Ellie Pahpasay.

Lylah was a very caring, kind, beautiful soul. She was artistic and creative. She was funny and did silly things. She loved taking care of her siblings and enjoyed helping her mother. She loved her family a lot, always happy to see them, greeting everyone with her cute smile. She was really one of a kind.

Lylah enjoyed gardening with her siblings and mother, drawing and doing artistic things, baking, playing video games with her siblings and auntie, going for adventures outside with her family and many more things that she loved doing, a lot being with her family.

She was predeceased by her Stepdad Paul Oteskan, Great Shoomish Isaac Pahpasay and her Great Kookum Annette Fobister, her Great-Great Shoomish Tom Payash, Great-Great Kookum M. Lydia Pahpasay, her Great Aunts/Kookums Jane Pahpasay, Elizabeth ‘Poosh’ Pahpasay, her Great Uncle/Shoomish Gordon Pahpasay, Juni Fobister, Chippewa Bluebird, Aunts Corina and Caitlyn Skead, Cindy Pahpasay, Uncles Leroy Fobister, Brian Fobister.

Lylah is survived by her mother, Lydia Pahpasay and her siblings, Avery, Avera and Xander, Kookum Laura Pahpasay, Shoomish Harrison Fobister (Nicole), Aunts Jillian (Mason), Chloe (Ashton), Uncles Tristan, Harrison Jr, Cousin Taz, Great Kookum Karen Bluebird, Great Shoomish William Sr Fobister, Other close relatives Patricia and children, Fawn (Mike) and children, Sharon and children, Robert/Bob and children, Sherman and children, Bear (Sarah) and children, Lucy P/Chookish, Thomas P, Mervin P, Cori, Taryn, Maverick, Jayde, Elayne P (Sammy), Arnold/Chip P and brother Kylleon, Holly P.

She will be greatly missed by numerous relatives and friends that are too much to mention.

Wake services will be held at the Trappers building in Grassy Narrows on Tuesday October 6, 2026 at 1pm.

Funeral services will be held at the Trappers building in Grassy Narrows on Wednesday October 7, 2026 at 11am.
