MACLACHLAN, Donna Elsie MacLachlan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Elsie MacLachlan in her 76th year. Daughter of the late Lyman and Elsie Jardin. Donna was the beloved wife of Hugh MacLachlan for 56 years, and a devoted mother to Heather (Larry) Popadyn, Jennifer MacLachlan, and David MacLachlan. She was a loving Nana to Matthew Popadyn, who brought her immense joy. She will be dearly missed by her siblings: Alan (Michelle) Jardin, Nancy (Gerry) Caron, and Katherine (Bill) Boxall, and was predeceased by her twin sister, Diane (Rick) Bryant. Donna also shared a cherished friendship with Gail Layng.

Donna had a deep love of nature and music, and she found great enjoyment in watching the Toronto Blue Jays. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched all who knew her.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the palliative care team at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa for their exceptional care and compassion.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
