David Murdo Macleod passed away peacefully at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital surrounded by family on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 64. David is survived by his daughter Kalene (Graham), his son Caleb, and his cherished grandchildren Nolan and Wyatt.
Loved and adored by his siblings, Carol (Dave) Tinkess, Sharon (Richard) Gaudet, Debbie (Garey) Gordon, and Doug (Dana) Genno. Predeceased by his mother Laura, his father Ken, and his sisters Linda (Eugene) and Donna (late Ken). David will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his extended family and friends.
A special thank-you to the nurses, support staff, and doctors at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital for their exceptional care during this time.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life, along with a private family interment, will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Liver Foundation in David’s memory.
