She of Bourget, Ontario, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 84. Daughter of the late Philippe Chénier and the late Gabrielle Loiselle. Dear mother of Sylvie (Marc Lepage), Johanne (Mario Fournier), and Marcel (Naomi Akazawa). Grandmother of Christiane Aupry (Sébastien Aupry), Caroline Lepage (Jonathan Bourget), Jade Fournier (Sean Blagdon), Maude Fournier (Austin Petersen) and David Magnan (Émilie Lepage). Great-grandmother of Antoine and Alice Aupry and Madison Magnan. Sister of Rachelle (late Daniel Brisson), Richard Chénier, and Chantale Chénier. Rita Magnan will be fondly remembered by her nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Michel (late Yvonne Brazeau), and her sister, Jeannine (late Jean-Guy Leroux).
The funeral will be held privately.
