MAKARCZUK, Nicholas Spencer Harrison Makarczuk

With deep sadness and undying love, the family of Nicholas Spencer Harrison Makarczuk announces his sudden and unexpected passing on November 26, 2025, in his 30th year.

Nicholas was the beloved son of Peter Makarczuk (Katie) and Sheri Hicks (Wade), and the cherished brother of Cassandra Makarczuk (Max). He is lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles, Margaret and Wojtek Pach, and Shannon Hicks and Kevin Barclay. Nicholas will be forever missed by his cousins, Wojtek Jr., Isla, and Weston.

Nicholas is predeceased by his grandparents Steve and Maria Makarczuk, and Walter and Ingrid Hicks.

Nick was a kind and caring soul whose helpful and charitable nature touched everyone around him. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a thoughtful spirit. He found joy in creating beautiful meals, spending quiet time in nature, and in the music he brought to life on his guitar. He loved deeply, lived generously, and enriched every life he entered. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, and he will be forever missed.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Northcutt-Elliott Funeral Home, 345 Church Street North, Bowmanville, ON, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025:

Visitation: 12:00–1:00 p.m.

Funeral service: 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Reception: 2:00–3:00 p.m.

A private family burial will follow at Bowmanville Cemetery
