MALETTE, Tanya Malette

Passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Born in Toronto, Ontario on June 12, 1979, Tanya Nichole Malette (nee Little) of Durham, Ontario, was 46 years of age.

Beloved partner of Walter Smith. Loving mother of Ethan, Eric and Jaylee Malette. Cherished nanny of Brielle Malette. Forever loved daughter of Moe Malette. Dear sister of Rene, Kyle, Brandy, Courtney and Frank. Sadly missed by her aunt Susan and her dear friend Ashley. Daughter of Theresa. Tanya will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Tanya’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed and a recorded version will be posted online.
