MALNICK, William Joseph “Bill” – Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Lakeridge Hospital on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the age of 93. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Isabell (nee Kendall). Loving father of Lou Bomhof (Bob), Jo-ann Tikkanen (Elvis), Bernard Melnick (Lorrie), and Shannon Magee (Andy).
Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Julie Gaetan. Predeceased by his siblings Steven, Walter, John, and Annie. Bill will be missed by all his family and friends.
Born in Dominion Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Bill worked for 32 years at General Motors Canada. He dedicated much of his life to helping others as a substance abuse representative and as a sponsor to many through his 54-year membership in Alcoholics Anonymous.
