MARCOVECCHIO, Luigi Marcovecchio

Passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2026 at his home in Leamington at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Maria (2021) for over 60 years. Loving father of Nick Marcovecchio (Lisa). Cherished Nonno of Isabella and Sophia. Dear brother of Antonio Marcovecchio (Rosella). Predeceased by sister Maria Marcovecchio (Rodolfo). Will be missed by his nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, Argentina and France, as well as countless friends. Luigi Marcovecchio retired from H.J. Heinz Company after a full career of dedicated service. He enjoyed spending his mornings at Tim Hortons, gardening, and sharing his wine or a favourite spirit with family and friends in the evenings.

Visiting at Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Thursday May 7, 2026 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday May 8, 2026 at St. Michael’s Church, 29 Elliott Street, Leamington from 11 am until time of Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Entombment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
