It is with sadness that we share the news of Margaret Lacey’s passing. Margaret Ada Lacey died surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Thursday, August 27, 2026. It is with gratitude we celebrate the wonderful life she led. Margaret has left a beautiful legacy in the hearts and minds of many people. Sharing 63 years of marriage with Frazer. Together they raised four children: Eddie, Eva (Robert), Michael (Mary-Jo), and Megan, and celebrated the growth of the family as they became grandparents to Joshua (Leanne), Matthew (Lorena), Sommer, Adam, Ned (Michelle), Victoria (Duncan), John, Eva, Caylee (Scott), Joe (Jen), Jeannie, Glenna (Jordan), and great grandparents to Cassidy, Demari, Tamia, Austin, Elaina, Frazer, Beatrice, Evelyn, Bramwell, Jovanna, Romelly, Ambrose, Saskia, Arthur, and Leo. Margaret will be remembered for the care she showed others, her voice in choir, and all the ways she showed her love for her family and friends.
A service to celebrate Margaret Lacey’s life will be held at Faith United Church on Saturday, September 12th at 2 p.m. Her family will receive friends at a reception following the service.
