Margaret Jean Stea died at Guelph General Hospital on October 7, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Stea and will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael, her sister Anne Gordon, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and Lina Stea. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Esther Gordon.
Funeral arrangements
Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel in Guelph on October 18 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life and reception. Cremation and later inurnment at York Cemetery are planned. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
