Marjorie Ann Ready

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Clarke and Donald Clarke; her significant other Jack Ronald Waller; her former husband Jim Ready; her siblings, Karan Thompson and James Rollison; her nephews, Michael Clarke and Jason Rollison; her sisters-in-law, Shirley MacCallum (Pen) and Yvonne Waller; her friends, Jeanette Eyre and Miriam Mandell; her close friend Dan Dobvey (Danny); and her pets, Rusty and Ruby.

She is survived by: her children, James Ready (Jim) of North Vancouver, Penny Ulmer (David) of Edmonton and Jack Waller Jr. (Nooria) of Fort St; her siblings, Patricia Slack, Donna Wheldon, Don Clarke (Karen) of Denman Island, BC and George Rollison (Liz) of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Ophelia Waller (Eliglio Rivas), Kym Ready of Surrey, BC and Chris Ready of North Vancouver; and her great grandchildren, Lacey-May, Zaeden and Misty Anne.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hainstock’s Funeral Home & Crematorium (9810 34 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E6L1).

From 1986 to 1991, she lived in Langford, raising Penny and Jack while helping care for her mother, Agnes, who was living with Alzheimer’s disease.
