Marko Hecimovic passed away peacefully in his 88th year on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
He was born in Bukovac, Perusic, Lika, Croatia (HR), the son of Blaz and Manda (Beba) Hecimovic.
He leaves behind his loving wife of over 50 years, Danica Hecimovic; his sons, Zoran and Marko and his wife, Laura; his daughters, Jadranka and Katica and her husband, Damiano; and his beloved grandchildren, Michael, Olivia, Deanna, Natalia, Christian, Damiano, Jade, Brooklynn, Sloan, Hunter, Bronx, Daniella, and Vanessa
He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Ankica, and his nieces, as well as his brother, George, and his nephews.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.

The Viewing will be on Monday, September 28th, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home – Chapel.
The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, September 29th at 11:00 a.m. at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish.
The Entombment will be on Tuesday, September 29th at 1:00 p.m. at Ocean View Burial Park – South Mausoleum.
Following the Entombment, please join us for a Reception at the Croatian Cultural Centre.
