passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Born in the Rural Municipality of Boulton, Manitoba, son of the late Oscar and Alydia (Siebert) Marshall. Predeceased by his wife Helen (Davis) Marshall (2004). Art is survived by his wife Linda Rae. Loving father to Dan (Merle) Marshall and Heather (David) McNairn. Proud grandfather of Michael Marshall, Lisa Marshall (Ryan Koetzle), Joanne Marshall (Luke Roth), Kyle McNairn (Elaine), Connor McNairn and his great grandchildren Emma Koetzle and Nora McNairn. Art will be remembered by his sister Ann Wilhelm.
In the early 1960s Art started his career as an auto mechanic. In 1980 he opened Art Marshall Motors and ran a successful auto repair and car sales business. Art was an avid outdoorsman. He played the guitar and in later years picked up the banjo and became a valued member of the local music community.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Stratford General Hospital, Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre (London) and special mention to the wonderful nurses from Care Partners Stratford.
Besides his parents and his wife, Art was predeceased by his siblings Alma (Jim) Alles, Herta (Gordon) Pethick, Otto (Leila) Marshall, Oswald Marshall, a sister in infancy Frieda Marshall and his brother-in-law Glenn Wilhelm.
The family will celebrate Art’s life privately and he will be laid to rest with his wife Helen in Avondale Cemetery.
