MARTIN, Kathleen Louise Martin

It is with profound sadness and immeasurable love that we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kathy) Martin, who left us on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the age of 67.

Kathleen Louise Martin will be forever cherished by her loving fiancé, Barry Wilson, her loving mother Carol Provencal, her devoted and loving children Matthew (Ashley) Martin and Meagan (Kent) Garlough and her grandbabies Ryu, Bryant and Sofie whom will all carry a piece of the lessons, strength, patience, and unconditional love she poured into them. She is also lovingly remembered by her “older” brother Jeffrey (Tish) Provencal, her many nieces and nephews, her partners in crime Pam (Darnel) Graveline and Cindy (Jim) Farkas, along with the Wilson family, many other family, friends, and church community.

Nothing brought her more pride than her family and friends as she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, adventures and spending time with them. Her best and most favourite role was being called Grandma to her grandbabies, whom she was always the biggest cheerleader for every small and big thing they had going on. Being “Grandma” was her greatest joy. Her face would brighten at the sight or even the mention of them. She celebrated every milestone, treasured every visit and every FaceTime chat at any hour of the day and loved each of them with an enormous, unmistakable heart and a constant source of love. They were truly her whole world.

Kathleen was predeceased by her loving father William Stanley Provencal, Grandmother Kathleen Bailey, Great Uncle Walter Bailey, Uncle Keith and Aunt Joanne Bailey along with other dear family and friends. We find comfort knowing she is reunited with each of them now and now in the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour.

Kathleen was a truly selfless person, living her life with a spirit that touched everyone around her. Whether it was offering a helping hand, sharing her time, putting others’ needs before her own, calling just to check in or sending a message to let others know she was thinking of them, she made the world softer and more beautiful simply by being in it.

Thank you goes out to Pastor Brian Lofthouse and all of her family and friends that have helped as she navigated through the health challenges that she had. A special thank you to Dr D’sa, Nurses Melissa, Lisa and Rachel in the Intensive Care Unit at the Niagara Falls General Hospital, and her physicians Dr Robb and Dr Jessome who continued to advocate for her and provide the best care for her.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A Celebration of Life will be held at Port Colborne B.I.C. Church, 10641 Hwy # 3, Port Colborne on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation starting at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends are invited to gather to honour the woman whose presence made every room softer and every life brighter. Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00 am at Sherkston B.I.C. Cemetery for those who wish to attend.
