It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Theresa Watts on October 8, 2026, at the age of 93, at Markham Stouffville Hospital following a brief illness.
Mary lived a truly wonderful and fulfilling life. Alongside her beloved husband, Michael Garbary (predeceased in 2024), she shared a deep passion for sailing and spent many cherished years travelling the world.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Terri Daniels, Shiona Watts, Richard Garbary, and David Garbary (Dolna), as well as her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, no formal service will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to an animal rescue or animal charity would be appreciated by the family.
