MASTERS, Trent James Masters

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Trent James Masters on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Trent leaves behind his beloved daughters, Jennifer (Tyler) and Jessica (Liam), and his loving sisters, Gail (late Tracy Osmond), Darlene & Mike Schwab, Cindy (the late Thomas Bazinet). Trent is the beloved son of the late Earl and Evelyn Masters. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his nieces and nephews.

Trent James Masters was a man who found joy in the simple things — fishing, boating, watching the Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs with his family and friends. He never missed the chance to talk about his other favourite sport being football. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing hockey and chatting it up with all his buddies after the game. He took great pride in his trucks and carefully maintained them. He kept them “spit and polished” always. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, his love for a good laugh, and for the way he always kept things neat, organized, and just right (especially wearing the right hat). If you knew Trent well, you can probably picture him exactly as he’d want to be remembered: relaxed, cooking on the grill, a drink in hand, and making everyone laugh. Trent was a long time employee of Goodyear Canada, a legacy he proudly continued in honour of his Father Earl, and the Masters family.

Trent is at peace now and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. RIP

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bowmanville Legion on Sunday, April 19th, from 1-4pm.
