MASUDA, Tsuyoshi “Christopher” Masuda

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Tsuyoshi Christopher Masuda on May 23, 2026, at the age of 83.

Chris was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and after being relocated to Tashme, B.C., he moved to Ontario as a teenager. After graduating from Ryerson, he dedicated his life to his work as an Electrical Technologist with Ontario Hydro. (Power Workers’ Union – Local 1000) He was known for his strong work ethic and practical knowledge.

He is lovingly remembered by his partner, Margaret (Peggy) Widgery, fondly remembered by his siblings, Gerry and Judy, his sister-in-law Louise and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Momoki and Edith Masuda, his sister Jean (Ayao Noguchi), brother Richard, sister-in-law Shirley and brother-in-law John Adamson

A cremation will take place in accordance with his wishes.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Tall Pines Long Term Care Centre for their care and compassion.
